Our South Street shop is undergoing a multimillion-pound makeover to create a unique whisky experience, incorporating displays, tasting rooms and a liquid library of some of the world’s rarest whiskies.
We are pleased that our new temporary whisky, wine and spirits shop on Elgin High Street is now open. You can find us at 121 High Street next to the entrance to the St Giles Centre.
Our new High Street shop includes a tasting space where we can host private Gordon & MacPhail whisky tastings for up to eight guests at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm each day.
How to find us:
Inverness is just under 40 miles to our West and can be driven in just under 1 hour via the A96 Eastbound, while Aberdeen is a bit further at almost 70 miles in the opposite direction, which can also be driven via the A96 Westbound in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
We do not have any on-site parking however, parking can be found in the multi-storey carpark which is part of the St. Giles centre or the nearby Lossie Green carpark. Please note there are fees and charges for these car parks which we are not responsible for. Elgin train station is a 10 minute walk from our shop and Elgin bus station is to the rear of the St. Giles shopping centre where our shop is also located.
There are multiple bicycle racks located on Elgin High Street just outside our premises.
Please note that the whiskies selected for each tasting are subject to change depending on availability.
Each Private Whisky tasting consists of 5x20ml measures.
All participants are required to be over 18 years of age.
You should allow up to an hour and a half for your visit.
Our premises is fully wheelchair accessible.
In the event of cancellation, 24 hours notice is required to issue a full refund. We will accommodate rescheduling when possible.
